Ms Paku
A downloadable game
Shoemaker's Last proudly presents: Ms Paku!
A variation of the popular Paku Paku game by Kenta Cho of ABA games, Ms Paku adds a bit of graphical flair and arcade sound effects.
Just as in Paku Paku, your aim is to munch as many dots... and ghosts!... as you can on a one-dimensional playing field. The only control is the joystick button: press it to reverse Ms Paku's direction.
Ms Paku was written in 6809 assembly language for your Tandy Color Computer 1, 2 or 3 and TRS-80 MC-10. Joystick required for the CoCo versions. Many thanks to Invis, Paul F. and Paul T. for their gracious help and input.
The graphics are styled after the arcade classic on the Sega Master System.
Download the free virtual disk. For the CoCo 3, load it into your trusty CoCo 3 or your favorite emulator, type LOADM "MSPAKU" and press [ENTER]. The game will automatically start after loading is complete.
For the CoCo 1 or 2, type LOADM "MSPAKU2" and press [ENTER]. This version is in 4 colors only.
For the TRS-80 MC-10, download the .C10 file. Point your favorite MC-10 emulator to the file, then CLOADM and EXEC to play. Use the spacebar to turn. If you have an MCX-32 SD attached to an actual MC-10 (good for you if you do!), download and save the .C10 file to your SD card, then type RUNM"MSPAKU" to play.
Enjoy!
