Paku Paku
A downloadable game
Shoemaker's Last proudly presents: Paku Paku!
The viral hit comes to the Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer and MC-10 Micro Color Computer! Originally created by Kenta Cho of ABA games, Paku Paku cleverly distills an arcade classic into a simple and addictive single-button game.
In this one-dimensional Pac Man-style game, you'll use just the joystick button to eat dots and an increasingly fast-moving ghost. The ghost is worth more points with each successive wave, try not to miss him!
Paku Paku was written in 6809/6803 assembly language. The CoCo version requires a joystick (button) to play. The MC-10 version uses the spacebar.
For the CoCo, download the virtual disk file, then LOADM the file named PAKUPAKU.BIN. It will detect whether you are using a CoCo 1/2 or a CoCo 3. The CoCo 3 version offers a modified color palette but otherwise plays identically.
For the MC-10, download the MCPAKU .C10 file, then CLOADM and EXEC to play.
